Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels

Cu Chi Tunnels
Cu Chi Tunnels are a vast network of connected underground tunnels which were formerly used as stronghold and hideout for the Vietnamese guerillas during the Vietnam War. They also served as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for guerrilla fighters.

Pick-up at your hotel and drive to Cu Chi, a suburban town one and a half hour away from Ho Chi Minh City. Go down a short stretch of the tunnels to experience for a moment how thousands of guerrillas used to live there and fought during the war. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, the tour starts with an exploration of Saigon’s past through a visit to the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. The tour continues to show you excellent examples of French colonial architecture: the Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. The tour ends at Ben Thanh market, where you may practice your bargaining skills.Return transfer to your hotel.
